Cute Cozy Cabin in an Excellent Location

Spent our 12th anniversary weekend here, very cozy and cant get much closer to the river! Bert was great and made getting checked in and settled very easy.

Cozy clean cabin on the McKenzie River. There are two hot springs located within 30 minutes of the cabin. Restaurants are limited and lackluster, but the cabin has full kitchen amenities at your disposal. The host Bert was very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Location is beautiful, directly out your door is the river. We ate breakfast on the deck overlooking the river and it was amazing. So glad they had a little well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed with hotel style bedding. Loved it!

Great spot, great host, terrific views, very peaceful. Would stay again. Had to leave early due to illness but it was a lovely area.

Pro: -The location was relaxing and in a gorgeous setting. The owners were delightful and very helpful with suggestions regarding what to visit, and historical information about the area. Annie Margarita is an excellent artist and very generously shared her art studio with me. The owners son, an excellent clarinetist, graciously played for me one evening outside by the fire where his parents were enjoying a relaxing reward after a hard days labor attending to the grounds.

We enjoyed our stay there, and very glad we picked the Kingfisher cabin. An older remodeled cabin but we thought it was quite nice. The bed was comfortable,. We did get cool at night, but turned on the heater and all was well. We want to stay there again! Also, Bert & Annie are nice and friendly and made us feel welcome! Thank you Bert & Annie!

Beautiful romantic cabin!
The cabin was super easy to find. Bert greeted us as soon as we got there and was super nice and friendly. The cabin is beautiful! Surrounded by trees in the front and back and the river is literally like 30 feet away ?�, very private and romantic. Inside the cabin the bed was super comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, there’s also a small desk, couch, cd/cassette/radio player and air conditioning. In the bathroom there is a shower and a amazing jaccuzzi tub with Jets and fits 2 people perfectly with lots of room. You open the glass doors in the back of the cabin and there is a small BBQ grill and a patio table set to enjoy the view of the river. There is a grassy area right up front to enjoy the sun and the river. In the cabin you can see and experience the river from your bed! It is just beautiful! Thank you so much for the hospitality and amazing cabin, we will definitely be back ?�!

Burt is a wonderful host. The cabins are exceptionally clean which is difficult to accomplish in classic cabins even when they are fully remodeled. Beds are best quality.

River Wonderful!

The cabin was a bit rustic for my taste and well worn. When I mentioned that the couch seemed broken I was told that they are going to update the cabin so I do look forward to staying there again. I did get to see one of the renovated cabins and it was quite nice. That being said bed was super comfortable with lush linens, the place was really clean. In addition to the coffee maker, there was coffee! The river view is spectacular! Bert and Annie are wonderful hosts and overall it was a really nice visit. If you are looking for luxury, keep looking. If your looking for really great surroundings with lovely owners that treat you well and care that you are comfortable and happy then this is the place. I stayed there because I was visiting nearby family so did not participate in their artist’s workshops. They look great and if I can tear myself away from my grand kids I may sign up for one. Thanks for a great week. See you again!

A friend and I stayed 3 nights in the cabin and did 2 days of fishing with Burt. The cabin and location is beautiful and private. The fishing was good. Burt made sure we were having fun and wow, what a great cook! I’ve never had a better lunch!

Wonderful, Romantic stay on the McKenzie

We had a wonderful stay at the McKenzie River Inn in the Kingfisher cabin. The cabin is great for a romantic get away and the river is just steps from the back door. We fished a bit and just really spent time to ourselves. It truly was a nice, reconnected weekend.
